Whilst on a search for the latest and greatest source components I came across this unit that Onkyo released June of last year, just thought I'd put some attention on it. Looks very interesting indeed. SRP is $700 which puts it into direct league with the Arcam DiVA CD73, Cambridge Audio Azur 640C V2, et al. Onkyo is a lot more of a household name than Arcam and Cambridge though.
Interestingly, like the Arcam and Cambridge, this one also uses the Wolfson WM8740 as DAC!

Man, I would really love to hear this unit to hear how it stacks up! And $550 shipped from those 3 e-tailers is a really nice price too. Doesn't use an IEC power socket but it does play MP3 discs which is definitely very handy. And it has a headphone jack!
