It looks like you have done a good job and enjoy what you have built.
One thing though...you should find a new name for it because it
in not a Cmoy.

I have removed the OP 1611 and replaced it with two LTC 1028 .
I have removed the bad C=0.1µf .Now there is no C input .
I have replaced the R=1.5k by a 10.5 K

Much better !!!!

I have another CI and i would like find another very good single AOP ...have you an idea ?

Today i am "disapointed" ....
frown.gif

with the LTC 1028 there is less dynamic but in French in the text !!!!!
le  son est plus  aérien , moins crispé ,les voix semblent moins en avant  ,moins fatiguant à l'ecoute ( si quelqu'un peut faire la trad en English)

i assume you mean lt1028, otherwise you have picked the wrong linear tech chip. i mean i know its personal choice and the opa1611 is actually a surprisingly good chip, but its nothing on lt1028 in the proper layout, which is likely your problem, what gain have you set? lt1028 isnt really that keen on low gain, though lt1128 is fine with unity. there are a few tricks to get it sounding its best. try lme49990, opa827, opa1641

lol cmoy with shunt reg haha, a pocket sized amp to keep you warm on those winter jaunts

The best for the moment

.... for my configuration ....

Next step :
a CI for two LME49600 with a double AOP ( DIP8 ) or two single AOP ( SO-8)

LT 1028:

There is always a souffle in the headphone and a little noise at the beginning of the potentiometer .
The gain is around 2 perhaps is not enough !!!!!

lt1028 isnt really that keen on low gain dixit QUSP in a last post

What is the best solution ,increase the gain or a capa at the input ?

Thanks

I have made some tests with two 9v batteries and two 4700µ 25v FC Panasonic .
I am surprised Instruments tonality have changed

I did some tests with LM317 and LM337 regulators .
One LM317 and one LM337 for each AOP .( Two single AOP ).

basshead.gif

The results are :Where are the bass and the dynamic ?
I have no more fun listening to my CD
Probably:errors implentation ,bad capacitors choice .......
If you have any advices for improvement
For the moment the Shunt Reg. by SALAS  is better .
This weekend some tests with OPA827 and OP1641

sorry didnt see your reply, yes minimum 5x gain, but if you have very low Z headphones this might cause hiss of its own. a cap on the input wont do anything to stop hiss. are you compensating the opamp?
