Angels win the World Series!

It was an exciting MLB World Series. Game 7, down to the wire. Earlier games very close, other than one semi-blowout. Did any of you watch it? I caught bits and pieces, few innings here, few innings there. Yesterday, I watched most of it, and especially the end.

What's up with those batting averages? .471? .500? Man alive.

Well, congratulations to the Anaheim Angels. If you can't have a good hockey team, at least you have baseball. First franchise World Series championship. Any of you Californians at the game?

Congrats Angels, though I was really rooting for the Giants. Main reason was I had hoped to see the Twins advance to the World Series (and win if possible) just to show Bud Selig or whoever the commissioner is that you don't want to get rid of baseball franchises just because they're not doing so well financially one year or another. It's hard to sack a team, but harder to pick the pieces back up! I hope that the point was still made, with the Twins playing a decent season.
