Greetings all!

This is my first post here, sorry if this has already been answered:

Is it possible to bypass the android sample rate of 24/48khz when using streaming services such as amazon music hd? I know UAPP and other software work for locally stores music, but haven't found a solution for my android device.

Currently using a oneplus 8 pro with android 10.

Thanks in advance!

Amazon HD music is 16-bit/44.1k, so your covered.
Amazon Ultra HD is up to 24-bit/192K, do you use the Ultra HD ?

Yes! I do use ultra hd, on my pc for example I can stream at 24/192k, on my phone I'm limited to android's automatic resampling of 48khz. I see the Galaxy notes have no problem streaming up to 192khz, so I'm not sure why a phone with a snapdragon 865 is having issues and this hasn't been resolved as of yet.

Yes I don’t believe it’s Android but the phone as I have a Android DAP and it will stream at higher resolution than 24/48.

I have a phone, not a DAP... I'm wondering if the android phones have this limitation. I'm thinking about the hiby r6 pro
Contact the phone manufacturer's tech support, see what they have to say.

You are thinking of the Android DAP I have the HiBy R6 Pro. I think my Questyle QP1R sounds a bit better but I tend to stream more so the R6 is the way I go most. I think it is a very good player as I don’t get any noise with my fairly sensitive IEM’s Empire Ears Phantoms 117db and 10 ohms. It can also do a pretty good job with full sized headphones from the 4.4mm balanced connection as well.

Nice, does It have issues streaming from high resolution services like amazon music ultra hd at 24/96 or 24/192?

It has no problem with Tidal Masters or Qobuz at least 96 can’t remember if I found too many 192’s but I think it would not have a problem.

I just attempted to play Amazon ultra hd at 192 khz and it defaulted to 24/44.1 on the hiby r6 pro
Don’t know about Amazon but that doesn’t happen with Tidal and Qobuz.
