Has anyone ever tried this? I found one floating around from when I purchased a headset for use with Dragon Dictate and plugged it into my machine, along with my SR-80s. It seems to sound a way better than the Optoplay I tried along with it.

Only around $40 too. I'm surprised there isn't more discussion about USB pods that aren't made expressly for music output but seem to work well anyway.
