Saw this on Riovolution. Rio employees are implying the post was intentional this time around.

The Rio Carbon looks great IMO... voice recorder is handy, and the 20 hour battery is quite nice (engineer says it's been tested to 23 hours). Not one for flash players, but the Forge doesn't look too shabby either. No prices announced yet. The one we've all been waiting for, the Chroma, is suspiciously absent...

Year 2000? Pfft, that's 4 years ago, get with the times.

Those colours sure look nice. I like the Carbon better than the Forge, although Forge is a cooler name. Better than "iPod" or "iPod, but smaller".

The Forge looks really easy and comfortable to operate. The Carbon maybe not so.

iPod zealot: its the title of the song (The year 2000 by Phenomenauts)

That one has a cool design. Chrome style player, very stylish. Big improvement from Nitrus/Eigen, can recharge from USB, 5GB, voice recording, audible format, 20 hours battery life. I hope its compatible to MS Janus (like the Zen Touch)

austonia, any word on *who* will carry the Carbon if it does in fact hit the US on the 14th? Specifically, I seem to remember Fry's Electronics being one of the first to carry the Karma and such once it was finally available. Interested in knowing since I have a friend or two that work there...
