Ok after lurking here and on reddit i've finally decided to go with Beyerdynamic 1350's. I have 3 Questions before I Push the buy button. This will be my first set of High Quality headphones, so I hope i'm making a good choice.
The Details:
Source : iPhone 5
Music : Primarily post modern jazz ( The Bad Plus, E.S.T. Medeski, Martin and Wood)
Rock ( The Who, The Black Keys, Jack White, Arcade Fire)
and a smattering of Hip Hop ( A tripe called quest, Macklemore bestie boys)
The Questions
Do I need / want a portable amp? Reccomendations? I was looking at the fiio e11
In The next year I'm looking to set up a Turntable its going to be headphone only for a while. I work strange hours and i'm an apartment dweller. Will the 1350's be up to a phonograph and headphone set up?
Lastly what accesories should I get for the rig?
