The ER6i is actually an upgrade from the RE2, in terms of quality, clarity, and isolation. It seems like your next best bet.

And the comfort level? I'm currently using bi-flanged eartips.

Is ER-6i a downgrade from RE2?

duarability on them is fine as long as you treat them right. the cable is extremly thin from the y split and up but i never had any problems with them when i owned them for roughly a year or so.

ER6, if you can wear them ..few hassles. Solid quality, good isolation when you get the fit, better than the HF5s IMO.

definitely analytical

u mean the isolation or the sound quality is better for the HF5? i was thinking about getting the HF5, but after seeing your comments.. I'm reconsidering.

Btw.. I've tried the er6i and found that it performs much better than the RE2 in noisy environments. But i can't find HF5 in my country. I saw it yesterday for sale at Amazon for 99.97 but it has since risen to 129.49. Just wondering.. is it safe to buy from a seller who only sells the HF5 and has no past selling history? I've never bought from Amazon before
