You speak pure wisdom. Having done web development and as a web browser user, there is not  a single browser that I haven't cursed. Overall the webkit based ones are the ones I like the most (or dislike less...).

I'm a mac user who hates Safari. Firefox and Chrome are much better IMO

you're probably using Safari without adblock and click to flash.

Because some mac users are fanboys. Say anything bad about Apple and they jump down your throat.

yeah, i noticed that adblock seems to be failing these days (months).  they haven't updated in a year or so and i don't think they've made an effort to update to 64bit.

DIfferent preferences maybe?
What works beautifully for some/most people may "suck" to other people - like you.
