Amps in Japan

My wife will soon travel to Japan. Should I ask that she find me an amp for my HD600s? What do you suggest? I would probably need to stick to about $300. Thanks!

Japan is not a very cheap country when it comes to audio. It would be different if it was China...

I would be quite interested in an Audio-Technica AT-HA25D:-

A headphone amp with an optical input that costs only just over $200 on PriceJapan. Some on this forum have speculated that it might not be powerful enough for HD650s, but I don't know where they get that idea from.

The headphone amp in not popular.
Many Head-fier in Japan use imported HPA.
Only CEC HD53R or Musica hpa10 are good HPA within your wished price about $300.
In Akihabara you can find them.
