Hello,

Recently while helping my parents clean their basement I found their old stereo, a Sony FH-E838CD. The system is busted (It randomly stops working after minutes of activity), but the speakers are in pretty good shape. Does anybody have a good recommendation for an amp that I could use to connect them to use with my PC? I'd prefer not to spend more than $ 300.00, but that's more of a hope than a hard limit.

Here are the specs of the speakers:

Thanks.

This could work if your pic has optical or coaxial outputs. There's also a Bluetooth module you can buy down the road so you could easily pair with your phone.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll look into that model.

Ideally I'd want something that accepts analog/line out as well as optical, but it's not a requirement.
