Budget, balanced wanted, footprint size?

I highly recommend the Drop + THX 789. I’ve been through 14 amps so far and this thing is by far the best.

I use it with my JH 10x3 Pro IEM’s, HE-400i, and Aeon Flow Open.

My budget is 450$ preferably balanced. I don't think I'm too concerned of the size. I've heard pretty good things about that one and the 887, but then i was also intrigued by tubes 😅 i'm pretty overwhelmed as I'm fairly new to the audio scene.

Sorry to hijack your thread OP, but I’m actually in the exact same situation. I’m looking into getting a Sundara soon and I’m wondering if I should upgrade my amp. I have a Magni 3 currently. I’m looking at the THX 789 as well especially since they dropped the price to $300. But is there any reason to spend that much on an amp besides the features and build? Don’t some $100 sound practically identical? Is the Magni 3 one of them? I read it’s a bit colored compared to some more recent offerings but it’s the only one I’m familiar with.
