I love my EBs and wondered whether they would be enhanced with a portable amp like Headroom Total Bithead? Anyone has any experience with amping the EBs and is it worth doing it? I'd appreciate any help before contemplating purchasing an amp...

In my experience, all IEMs, including Super.fi's, benefit from all amping, even if it's minimal. I however don't think it's worth strapping on another block to your iPod/dap.

I used the EB's with a LDM+. This little amp is quite bright so it complements the EB's very well. Be sure that you have the right IC (I used an Ultimate Link Affinity) or you get too much bass.
