Hey there, I have a few questions about amping my DIYMod 5th gen iPod

Ok, first of all I did the mod with the intent of running the bottom output to my car system for superior quality and then using it normally without a headphone amp throughout the day. But my car died so I can't make use of the sound system anymore and so I have a DIYMod without an amp.

My first question is- would this thing work as an amp?

Logitech Z-2300 200W 2.1Rms THX Speaker System: Amazon.ca: Electronics

It's my computer speaker set. And I can't just test it out because I have to custom make a cable with capacitors to even try it out without the risk of damaging anything.

Second question - I am almost sure that the answer to this is yes, but here goes. If I ran the Ipod bottom output > computer > speaker system would I have degraded quality as opposed to ipod going directly to the speaker system?

I ask simply because if I use the computer in between the source and the speakers the ipod will charge constantly, and I could change songs on a computer vs on the ipod

Any help would be greatly appreciated
