Hi, I'm looking for the best bang for buck amp that I can use with a AKG K 701. My main purpose is gaming. I'm not interested in tube amps. Clarity and positional sound is important. Is there an amp that you guys would suggest?

Its called "bumping" not double post.

Anyway Im also a gamer. I play alot of TF2 and COD4.

My headphone/Amp setup is the Denon AH-D2000 and the iBasso D1. The D1 is modded with 2x AD8397 for Buffers 2x AD797 for LR and 2x AD825 for the DAC.

It is great for gaming. I can hear the footsteps/gunfire of enemies and can position them spot on. Explosions sound awesome too. But this setup is more focused on music and it does a bloody fantasic job of it.

I am very satified with this setup, it does everything well gaming/music/movies.
I don't think I will buying anymore audio equipment anytime soon.

Any more suggestions, I prefer only amp and not DAC.. and I don't want to mess with batteries.
