bump, I forgot to mention the monoblocks I am using are these http://www.divertech.com/aslkmp60foxdt.html
do you think using a SS amplifier would result in poor synergy? On one hand I'm scared a SS preamp will ruin the point of having tube monoblocks, on the other I'm worried a tube preamp will make it sound too lush/loose. The GS-1 looks like the most interesting at this point. How about these single power amps I keep hearing about such as the slam?
