I think hes looking to another league than fiio. D10 synergizes very well with SE530 or pico (I owned both and now just D10) I feel that D10 actually supersedes pico; especially with the topkit installed. cant comment much about amping TF10 as I didnt have an amp when I had them. Lisa III also sounds great with SE530

haha yea i heard about the lisa III but i think the size is kinda turn off.so i might stay with the d10's.saving money for the D10 soon.saving and saving.yeaps the fiio to be honest, isnt that very superb as they say.anyways i got it for 15 AUD including postage.i haven't really tried it with the 530's because before that i own a 310 and its totally bad with the fiio.it makes it crackle a little and...just not too good.but its pretty alright with the sennheiser hd 515.

I have the d2, and use it with my TF10's. They scale very well with the d2. With that said, I am just waiting for Hanukkah- that is when I will buy my Pico and sell off my D2 Boa.

If you are thinking Ray's amps - Tomahawk is a very nice little portable - but the Mustang is a magnificent little portable.

Tomahawk's advantage is using store-bought batteries. Good for longer trips away from the charger.

yea i am actually looking at the tomahawk but well for the extra 80 usd issit worth the upgrade to a mustang?

In my opinion - yes! Mustang has a clarity of attack, clarity in mids and Ray's nice bass rolled into one great package. Superb. But I also love the Tomahawk for its' usefulness re batteries/size. It doesn't sound quite as good as the Hornet or Mustang, but it still sounds good.

hmm but yet again im torn between choices,D10 or the mustang?the mustang is like 100 usd more.is it worth the upgrade?please enlighten me.i thought of the tomahawk but since stevie said that its much more worth it to get the mustang since its already like 80 dollars difference, but compared to the d10, issit really that much of an upgrade?i really hate buying sumthing substandard then regret not getting the better one that is like 100 dollars away later.

but wouldn't an addition of an amp would improve its SQ?thats what i read all about.i don't wanna go all out then find myself disappointed by paying so much for an insignificant improvement.
