Any suggestion for SA5000 for home listening below$500? I am using a modified version of PIMETA. The sound is acceptable. Does Gilmore Lite a good choice?

Do you like the pimeta?

If you do then the next step is really to go for the PPA or M3, the M3 being my preference.

Have you tried using different opamps in the pimeta? you might find something you like a bit more than the stock AD8620/8610.

I highly recommend trying the AD8066/8065 opamps as they seem to suit the SA5ks to a tee.

Yes, I like the sound from PIMETA. I am rolling different OPAMP and try to find out which OPAMP suit SA5K.

I heard a darkvoice tube amp with it, and it was an AMAZING improvement over solid state.

Could you describe in more detail your impressions? What other amps have you heard the SA5k's with? How do they compare?
