So I recently got the fiio e5 for my sansa fuze -> PK1s, but still think I can get more out of these things. So now I'm considering any amps that are near the size of a FUZE (1.9″ x 0.3″ x 3.1″) that would drive PK1s well and have good battery life. The most important dimension would be its thinness.

Does anyone have any suggestions? My budget is <200, but not firm if its worth it. Also, I'm thinking about trying to track down a line out, as I've heard they can be made by someone who knows what they're doing. Would this be worth it?

the ibasso t4 would be about the size you are looking for..although i don't know how much it would help over the e5. i just bought one over the weekend and have yet to try it out. but line out would definitely help over the headphone output.

I've never tried the T4, but I do own its predecessor the T2, and it's a noticeable improvement over the Fiio E5 and is leaps and bounds ahead of the Fuze's internal amp.

Excuse the extremely crappy cell phone pic showing the size of the T2 in comparison to the Fuze...

T4 or even the D10 fit nice with the Fuze. I can carry the D10/Fuze combo in my hand while I walk to work (but I do fear dropping it).

The D2 Boa is about the same size as well, and then you get a DAC
