I just ordered a Zero Dac and will be running optical to it from my Macbook. The Zero Dac has a preamp function and I was wondering what amp would pair well with this? I've read about the Hifiman EF2 and it seems like it might work well. Also the main headphones being used with this setup are Beyerdynamic DT880's. Also, would 1/4" to the hifiman be the best connection or just RCA out of the Zero to the RCA inputs of the hifiman? Thanks!
