Can u recommend me some good amp for under 250$ that work best with theese cans ? The music i listen for is mainly Eurodance but i also listen a lot of Pop, 'Soft Rock' ( Dire Straits ). The sources are an Onkio MD and a M-Audio Revo soundcard on my computer ( some M-Audio audiophile USB may arrive later ) ! Thanx !

The EarMax is a nice complement to the DT 880, but for your style of music and budget I think the HeadRoom Micro Amp (with Desktop Module) would also work very well. It's a bit more aggressive, punchy (with the crossfeed on...which strangely boosts bass), and has nice impact.

There's two "teams" when it comes to amps for the 880: (a) people who are happy with their sound out of solid-state amps, and (b) people who really think they should be used with tubes.

I'm yet another of those EarMax (Pro) + DT880 people, FWIW. I had a Meier Corda HA-2 before that, and I wasn't happy with the mids.

The 880 sounds very nice out of the M³ amp.
For a slightly more detailed presentation the Dynalo is nice as well.
