Hi,

My iBasso D2 Viper is not turning on, for whatever reason. It worked all day yesterday and when I went to use it it no longer is turning on (the blue light stays off and no sound is coming through it.) When I plug it in it says it is charging and when I plug the USB in that light lights up as well so it recognizes it. It's just not working.

Any ideas?

I do not hardly know anything about the D2 viper but maybe the batteries went bad?

so the orange light it on right? well even if the batteries went bad when it is plugged in it should work regardless /shrug

yeah i don't think it's the battery. could an opamp gone bad or something? would that effect the blue light not turning on?

ow lol I had this happen to me before are your connections in the right spot and not inversed? Happened to me once and scared me a bit

what do you mean "are your connections in the right spot"? What connections. I opened it up. took the opamps in and out and switched some around and still got no power.

I think it's broken. What's the deal with these? Who do I send it back to? The place in Singapore I got it from or iBasso. I'm not looking forward to waiting almost a month to get it back.

If you have to have it repaired contact iBasso via their website. Is your unit under warranty?
