ok i've been on an amp search since i got my RS-1s. I was going to get the HeadAmp GS1 then I got derailed and was thinking RA-1 and just yesterday I almost dropped a nice chunk of change on a Headroom MAX fully loaded right up to the $1000 ALPS while all the time thinking that I should go with my gut and get the Grace M902 or even M901 second hand

I want specifically want a Solid State Amp but it needs to have Balanced Inputs which is the main reason I dropped the GS-1 and RA-1 from the picture so now i sit here wondering where the heck to turn and how to make my Grados sound to their fullp potential. Any other solid states with balanced ins besides these that will sound nice with Grado RS-1s?

Singlepower Square Wave XL! I found the single-ended Square Wave paired very well with the RS1 (w/ bowls) and the XL should do the same in a balanced config.

The balanced Beta 22 might also be worth looking into.
