I sold my Lavry DA-10... don't ask why- I wanted to try to something new.

I have W11JPNs - like them a lot (very musical and fun)
I have CD3000s - like them a lot (detailed, great soundstage)

Here's what I need from an amp

1. Transparency
2. 3-D / holographic
3. Fairly uncolored but if need be a touch of warmth
4. Obviously a match for the W11s

Like to Have

1. DAC built-in-- but higher end
2. Resolution ability (this may be a function of the headphones)

Spend $500 - $1000 (I plan to spend around $1500 for both DAC and amp)

As you can see I also need a DAC so I will be entering a similar thread in the DAC forum.

Thanks to Iron_dreamer - he offered his blessings on the Corda Opera -- and I am really considering it -- only thing is I do not think its DAC is as good as the Lavry or others (Apogee)-- and then I read about Dynamight and other amps -- and I am really stuck here. Thank you so much in advance- I really appreciate it.
