I have been using UE-10 pros for about a year now, and I love their sound reproduction and wearing comfort. At present I am using a HeadRoom desktop with a home module. I wondered if anyone using UE-10 pros or a comparable iem believes that there is an amp which is markedly better for this purpose. My understanding is that because the UE-10 pros have very low impedance (around 13, and possibly 4 for the tweeter), that rules out tube amplifiers and perhaps a number of solid state amplifiers. For example, I could believe that the HeadRoom max module is better, but I would like to hear from someone who has actually used both with an iem. FWIW, I am now using a Rega Saturn, so I have pretty high quality sourec material.

I use a green Tomahawk with my Prophonic 2X-Softs and just love it. My source is a 4G IPOD yet to be modded. I hear ZERO hiss.
