I'm looking for recommendations for an amp for the above headphones. I want to spend 100-150USD. It's for gaming and will be taking input from the audio off of my motherboard.

i'll say you're better off buying a dac/amp combo, depending on your sound card. since it sounds like it's an integrated sound card, 0404usb is good for what you'll need. you can definitely find one in your price range.

if you are using 595 out of a dap, it wont benefit much from an amp.

Little Dot II ++ > Total Bithead. Always.

Try looking for the LDII++ on eBay. I dont think they produce the II ++ anymore, but you can get a really good deal on used.

i was looking at also getting an HT Omega Clarion sound card for my system. Going from onboard audio and a cheap pair of altec lansing phones to a clarion sound card with Senn HD595s and a little dot amp seems like a dream come true to me. Is the HT Omega Clarion a good card for the HD595s?
