Hi guys,
 
After hours of looking for a suitable DAP i have settled for the Clip+. Was looking at other high-end options but have decided to give my wallet a (temporary) break.
Are there any amps that will improve the SQ noticeably? Price isn't an issue but nothing too expensive. I have around 2500 CND (which is ~400USD) to spend on the amp. Alternatively, if there's something better, i could use all the money to buy a new DAP - I don't mind, it's just that i can't seem to find any in that price range.

The RCA Shadow was the absolute best combo I ever tried with the Clip.  Most of my headphones are natural-neutral so when I paired the clip with the dark shodow everything sounded perfect.  Does not hurt that it is a very tiny combo.  Only gave it up because I no longer had a need for ultra portable.
