What's your budget? I've used a HeadRoom Total Airhead for years with all sorts of phones, and it works great with the D2000. For the HD650's..,meh, not so much, but you're talking a huge difference in impedance.

Also, are you talking Denon D2000 or AT?

My D2000 with ApureSound cable sound great with the TTVJ Portable Millett Hybrid, and it does a phenomenal job with my Grado RS-1 and a friends Grado PS-1, and everything else. That amp stands out as sounding like my desktop sized tube amps. My alternate portable choices would be my Pico or Predator.

Well
I think I found the problem,is the source i used(ipod touch)
now i use my panasonic CT810,everything just good, the voyager sounds so good that i can listen for the 5hrs none stop,i have no complain now except the size of it

So is it a good idea to buy the imod for my portable system?
Will the imod sound the same or even better compare to my ct810?

Thanks guys

Hmmm. If I use the iPod touch with a nice line out dock it sounds fairly decent with most amps. It sounds like you were using headphone, which out is not as enjoyable.
