I need an amp, I'm thinking something around $200-$275 for my A900's, and DT770pro's. The source will be a Creative Audigy ZS2 soundcard. I know I need to upgrade my source, but, that will come later.

Don't see the point of keeping both these phones. And don't even think about an amp til you ditch that POS Audigy.

lol
an audigy2zs is still better than any modern low price sound card. neither of those cans need much juice, a small amp would do you well. like a little dot 1+

p.s. make sure to get the latest daniel k drivers that unlock many features on the audigys

Would the little dot power the 250ohm dt770's? Sorry if I didn't specify that.

Do those drivers work for windows 7?

couldnt tell you about the drivers and windows 7.

i used the amp with 250 ohm dt880's and it worked very well

The A900 does not improve too much with an amp. Just speaking from the prespective of the A900, a source upgrade would be a much wiser use of your money. I can't speak too much for the DT880 except it is pretty power hungry.

That looks like a great investment. I think that is what I'll do. THANKS!

Does the I/O drive have an amp in it?

Idk if it is or it isn't, but, I found that I can just the my front panel on my case and get little to no interference and still use the headphone amp. Thanks a ton!
