I have a new generation 3 nano. I recently bought the Altec Lansing IEM's that were on special.

I use my iPod for jogging and listening to music when I'm at work. Obviously the iPod doesn't have enough power to make those IEM's sound like they should.

Is there such thing as an amp that I could put in my pocket while I jog?

I doubt it, so which amps do you recommend? Money is an issue.

Thx

I just received a Meier Audio Corda Headsix which is a special promotion through this forum. It is an excellent amp. There is a long thread re the amp in the headphone amps section where you can see photos of the product next to all types of iPods etc. It's probably possible to jog with it attached to an iPod. You would have to experiment a bit with different ways of securing the two items to your body!!

I'm confused why people say the IM716 is hard to drive when the impedance is so low. An iPod can drive Koss headphones just fine and they are much higher impedance.
