I know I mentioned it above, but the original master amp is a great buy, esp at around US$100. Great sound and looks! I think www.cattylink.com is the place they're sold.... although they are sometimes hard to contact. coemaudio is another one, a friend boughtone there and was happy. I think it ended up costing him around €130 which I reckon would be maybe US$160 incl shipping etc.
You should know that the LD2 didn't have the arcing problem, only the LD2+ (newer later version) but that early versions of the LD2 (V1 and 2) had some issues...
