Hello!

I recently bought the DT-1990 Pro by Beyerdynamic. They sound great through my little Fiio K3 dac/amp, but I understand that feeding them from a standalone amp would be a huge upgrade. What would be a fitting amp for these cans? Budget: around US $250.

If you stretch to $300, Topping E30 / L30 combo. For $200, Schiit Magni and Modi.

Topping E30 / L30

I can't get L30 at that price in my location. It goes for around $350 here. But at that point, I am thinking about getting the NFB-11.28. It seems to be the superior unit in that price range. What do you think?

Used THX-887 or 789. They are very linear/clean and have about the most bang for buck i've seen. Happy hunting!
