I have a TAH which I use with my iPod. I also use it at home with my G5 but I would like to have a headphone amp I could just leave permanently connected to my G5. I've seen the TBH but wonder if I just shouldn't get an amp that plugs in to a wall socket. The music I listen to on my G5 is the same music that is on my iPod. I would welcome thoughts and suggestions.

AOS's Sostenuto DAC/Headamp looks perfect for your application, if you can afford it.

I was going to suggest the EXACT same thing.
