I have a TAH which I use with my iPod. I also use it at home with my G5 but I would like to have a headphone amp I could just leave permanently connected to my G5. I've seen the TBH but wonder if I just shouldn't get an amp that plugs in to a wall socket. The music I listen to on my G5 is the same music that is on my iPod. I would welcome thoughts and suggestions.

I'd somehow try to take advantage of the optical digital output you've got on your sweet G5.

Thanks Fiddler and Sean! I am not familiar with AOS and there isn't much about them on their web site. Do you know where they are? An established firm? The price would be OK for me.
