[Zarastro]

Hello from Greece. I have a pair of AKG K 240 MK II headphones and i am looking for a good amp to drive them. Until now i used a Darkvoice Figaro but the sound was just ok with warm mids but rolled off highs and bass was just not there. I love tubes but i hesitate to purchase an OTL amp like Skorpion HV-1 (witch i believe looks just awesome) out of fear i would have the same problems. I was considering the Head Direct HiFiMan EF5 and Audio-gd C-2C amps but i have no clue what would be best. I have a healthy stash of NOS tubes to use with EF5 and my system is a tube one with Prima Luna pro and power amp but i am just very confused witch direction i should move on. Any help will be appreciated. I would also like to include the J. Sound Lab Headphone Tube Valve Amp witch is not an OTL design.
