Hello,
I'm planning to buy new headphones, the Hifiman HE4xx and the Beyer DT150, but I haven't any headphone amp and my Shozy Alien hasn't the power to drive well those headphones. I would ask which is the best option for the sound quality, a new dap (if there something better than the Shozy into the budget) or a portable amp for the shozy?. My budget is 250/300 euro

The first things that come to my mind are:

for the amp the class A NHB pocket amp by XRK Audio

for the dap Aune M1S or Cayin N3

My only concern was the SQ when I bought the Shozy, and also now, but if the best option is a new dap I would like it with a dac to listen Spotify or Bandcamp from my computer, I don't care about bluetooth wireless connection equalizer and other things

I know it is old thread but have similar doubts, what would be the best upgrade for shozy plus ,a new DAP or a dedicated portable amp? I have old jdlabs c421 + ety er4 and beyer dt48. I only listen to music on the go. My humble budget is 300-400$. Thank you for every recommendation!
