Hey guys, I just finished a job and I have some extra money, so I thought I would invest in a DAC/Amp. So right now I have an MS1 and my comp headphone out sucks. I'll probably go with the SR225 as my next cans, but those won't be coming for a while. I want to get a DAC/amp to use right now with my computer and then when I get into college, another 2 years, I'll be able to use it then. I was looking at the Zero DAC/amp, Ibasso's stuff, and the 2move. Does anyone use a Zero DAC/amp in college? Would the portable amps here help with the SQ considerably, or would it be best to get a desktop home amp like the Zero?
