So I found a pair of denon d2000’s to scratch my itch.
Looking for a usb dac/amp combo to drive them.
I have my old favorites from back when I ran this can, but I’m looking for something more budget friendly as this is just a secondary setup. Maybe around 180-240 or so.
Any ideas?

Perhaps the SMLS M500 or JDS Labs Element II, but those are just outside of your budget. Does the pair have to be a combo or would something like the Schiit Heresy and Topping D30 work?

After thinking it over, I guess a stack isn’t that bad.
I went with the d30/Schitt combo.
