Hello HEADFI community.
I once again come for your help
I've been reading a lot about dac/amp for headphones. I've recently purchased Beyerdynamycs DT250-80Ohm, and I'm in love with them. Burned them in for about 40 hours or so, using various methods. I love their dark sound. But I wasnt able to find any information of which good dac/amp to use with them.
I'm on a laptop and dont have any amp or dacs. Cans are plugged into my Conexant HD onboard sound.
I have a limited budget of 250$.
I've so far set my eyes on Yulong U100. I'm hoping to get a bit more bass on them and overall increase the sound quality.
Would you recommend this combo? Or perhaps I should invest into something more simple, such as FiiO E7? Headphones are 80Ohm, I doubt they need much amping, I can't listen to them on max volume anyway.
Perhaps I should only buy a decent DAC without an amp?
If its any help I listen to metal music only. Bands like Slipknot, Disturbed, Deftones, Coal Chamber, Korn are my most played, if this is of any help.
Any advice is much appreciated
