I am looking for best overall gaming experience and gave my self budget of $2800 total so the Flows are 1800 so that leaves me with 1000 or so. I currently own the Valhalla 2 and a Smsl for a Spdif Dac. I haven't bought the headphones yet try to see what I want to buy first. Looking mostly for gaming and SBX surround makes a huge difference for me
My guess was going to be a combo of sound blaster z-SPDIF-A DAC-RCA Cable-Vahalla 2-Flows
So my questions is the valhalla 2 powerful enough to drive flows or do I need the upgrade for Lyr 2?
Will a basic modi uber work for SPDIF instead? or use my current DAC that works well?
Does the X7 sound better then the sound blaster z?
