Hi yall

I think it's time for an upgrade. I've been listening to my HD650 through a
Go Vibe V5/Elpac 24v and my Macbook Pro for the past few month. Yikes can't belive I just admited that.

While I'm happy with the set up that I have, I would like a set up with more precise and deeper imaging field and better instrument seperation and bass extension. I do however like the soft/silky like treble and wish to keep that intact with my upgrades, for some reason my ears are uber sensitive to highs and the HD650 is the phone that I can tolerate.

I have a thousand dollars to spend, please give me recommendations that will help me acheive the sound above.

it could be individual set ups or all in ones like the corda opera or the dac 1

The Cayin (Sparks) HA-1A and HD 650 is a match made in heaven. With the Cardas cable the synergie is phenomenal. The warm tube sound and laid back Senns are brightened just enough by the Cardas. Especially classical music seems to come more alive.

If your budget allows... get the Monarchy M24 tube DAC, and the XCAN v3 w PSU or GL w PSU, or the WA3, WA3+, or WA6!

You'll be amazed!
