Does anyone know how to setup a personal webspace using Ameritech DSL? I know how to create webpages, I just can't find any information about the FTP server, etc for hosting the files. All they seem to have is that stupid Yahoo briefcase thing. Thanks for any help.

It looks like SBC's idea of free webhosting is Yahoo! GeoCities, as described in this SBC Help document. You'll have to make do with something like 'www.geocities.com/jefemeister' (or whatever your username is). Kind of a crappy solution, but you get what you pay for, unfortunately.

By the way, their paid webhosting doesn't look all that good, either. GeoCities Pro

yeah, that's all the I found too. I don't know what I'm paying $75/month for. (It's really along the lines of $40 a month but I have no other use for a land-line than getting internet.) I think I'll make the switch to cable.
