On Dec 6th I put a pair of Portapro 2 in my Amazon shopping cart for $28.37 (via Circuit City) and promptly forget about them, is the sale item the same, it is hard to tell as the photos are from different angles. CC are still selling them PORTAPRo 2 for 28.48 online with free shipping

hciman77, the headphones Circuit City is selling through Amazon for $28 are the Portapro2's, not the Portapros (which are on sale for $32). There are a few small differences between the two headphones (I have the Porta's, but not the Porta2's), but they use the same drivers, and should sound the same. I think the main differences are that the Portas come with a small leatherette bag for storage, and they have adjustable positions for the earpads.
