I am trying out Amarra on my Mac Pro (Early 2009) with OS X 10.8.3.
I've got a problem which is that playback is not gapless. Listening to music that moves from one track to another without a break is impossible because there is either a dropout or a significant click sound.
iTunes has no problem playing the same tracks, they are totally gapless.
Initially I was using Amarra with iTunes, but to try and combat this problem I have created a separate playlist for Amarra containing music that segues seemlessly from one track to another.
In the playback settings I have checked Preload Tracks and selected "4" in the "Count" menu.
Still the problem persists.
The tracks are still in iTunes and they are all Apple Lossless files, all burned from the original CDs.
I wonder if anyone can suggest solutions to this?
