My KC06s broke recently and I just have a couple questions about the wiring...

  1. I stripped the wires and I see wires wrapped around what I think is the Left and Right signal wires still covered with rubber and the ground wires wrapped around them, I think?
  2. I unwrapped the wires and seperated them like this
  3. Now the problem I have is how do I solder this thing to a jack? I saw videos but they were all 4 pole with coloured wires. Am I correct that the green is the right signal, the plain coloured one is the left signal and the 2 thinner wires are both ground?
  4. Tell me if this is correct!
    • Take the 2 thin wires, put them together and that is the ground wire
    • Unwrap the 2 thick wires and make sure the metal is showing
    • Apply the right signal wire (green, I think?) to the first pole, the other wire to the 2nd pole.

Thanks for the future help and I hope you can help me out! Plan on using this jack

TLDR; 2 thin wires wrapped around the signal wires are the ground wires. Green is right channel and plain coloured is left channel
