Sorry to make this dumb thread but I couldn't find a thread or site with verified information on this.
When I browse the senn website I cannot find an alu HD-25 or amperior(I know the amperior is discontinued for sure btw)
Has the aluminium HD-25 been discontinued officially?

Bit late in replying to this, but I'm pretty sure the answer is yes. The Amperior was definitely discontinued some time ago and now it seems the Alu has followed it into oblivion. It's a safe bet that if Senn don't have it listed in the products section on their site that's it gone. Also spotted this on a local headphone store: http://www.westenddj.co.uk/sennheiser-hd25-aluminium, so I think that's pretty conclusive.
