There's an eBay seller who has a bunch of them listed right now, they're all peppermint though. If you get one at minimum bid, it'd be £1.50 total.

I was really surprised to find out after moving here that even though Altoids are made here, they're only sold in North America.

Maybe you could get some friendly person over here in North America to buy some cinnamon and wintergreen Altoids for you and send them over there to the UK. From the sound of it, it might be cheaper that way.

In Canada at say Shopper's Drug Mart I remember they went for $2.50 CAD or something a pop... not cheap. That's about the same as 99 pence.

Shipping to the UK??? the darned things are made in the UK (Cheltenham to be precise) and have been made in the UK since 1780 during the reign of King George lll. Altoids are not American they are British through and through and if you can't source them in leicester I would kick altoids up the backside with a very stern letter.

Try a specialist sweetshop they should have them, I know the sweet shop in st andrews has all the different types.

US dealers shipping Altoids to the UK...... I've never heard anything so funny

If you must get them from the USA then all varieties are $1.99

Try here too: http://www.cybercandy.co.uk/aaasmt/index.php/url_uksec

Search results for Altoids: http://www.cybercandy.co.uk/cgi-bin/...=all&q=altoids

Robbing bustards want £3.70 a pop for them, typical rip of Britain.

Why not try the Marks & Spencers. Their Curiously Stong Mints come in a nice tin that would be useful for building a CMOY or Mint Amplifier in.

Alternatively, why not try the Fishermans Friend ones? Many people don't like the tats of them but the tins are certainly different and to me are more attractive than the altoids ones.

IRC the last time I had Altoids I got them from a specialist smokers supply shop. You know the ones that seel Halfzware Shag and allsorts of funky pipes and **** to people with whippets, tweed jackets and flat caps
