What headphones are out there that share a (somewhat) similar sound to the B&W P7, but are cheaper?
It's got to be a closed headphone, and it should have a detachable cable.
Max. price level that of the B&W P7, but of course preferably cheaper.

I've fallen totally in love with the sound of the P7! Climaxes in classical music sound gorgeous because of the P7's majestic-sounding brass and it's wonderfully aggressive upper-register violins. They have a lot of bite!
The P7 is awfully expensive though, so it would be nice to hear about any cheaper alternatives that might be out there.

Many people recommend the Beyerdynamic DT 770 but it does not have a detachable cable, which I prefer.

I've got the Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 over-ear coming in one of the following days for testing.
It's a little bit cheaper than the B&W P7, but still expensive.
I've got 14 days right to return the Momentums and therefore there is time to find a cheaper alternative to that and the B&W P7, if possible at all.

Already tried the NAD VISO HP50, but it fits way too tight on my head unfortunately.
I liked it's sound too though.

Hope someone can chime in.
Thanks.
