I'm thinking of buying Audio Technica M50. But I would like to have an alternative to choose since jumping into something quickly is not ideal.

But you've given us no info to work with. Does it need to be portable? If not, is open-backed okay? What source are you connecting to? What kind of music do you listen to? Do you like bass heavy, or a neutral sound signature?

Style: Bass (but neutral is ok too)
Details: It doesn't need to be portable, it just needs to be a headphone.

Ue6000, ES FC300, Martin Logan Mikros 90, Fidelio l1. They're all much better than the m50 IMO.
