Perhaps this has been brought up before, but I couldn't find anything on it, nor a product.
 
I am looking to buy a 1/4" to 1/8" (mini) adapter, so I can use 1/4" comfortably with items such as an iPhone with a case.
As you may know, the Grado cable has sort of a lump that prevents use with some devices, especially those using cases.
 
I know I can make modifications to the device or cable, but wish not to.
 
Does anyone know where I could get such an item, or get one made?
 
If not, and I decided to get all fancy and start building them to sell, would anyone be interested?

Some ideas, I believe the first two are for DIY cables, is this what you are using?.. or where in the world did you get yours?

I used a really nice 20 awg pure copper cryo wire from eBay.its audio minor and he is in turkey and ships out really quickly.then I litz braided the cable and put on 2 nuetrik 3 pin mini xlr male connectors.and I put a 3 pin chassis mount inside the cup to make the cable detachable.

wow! that is beautiful! did you make that particular cable? is it bad to heatshrink the whole thing? or should I use a different method of sleeving? I want it to have a rugged feel to it. Also, any suggestions for 1/4" female adapters?

Also, what if I used a standard Canare L-4E6S cable? would the NEUTRIK mini even fit on there?

Yes I did make the cable.its not heat shrunk its just how it is.heat shrink each end so that it toughens up the connectors and keeps them from coming detached.yes you could use a clear heat shrink that would be fine.
10mm clear 2:1 shrink rate is ok.im sorry I've not had much to do with 1/4 female adapters.
