I've been pretty happy with my M11 playing FLAC and Amazon Music HD, using Shure SE 846 phones. But I'm considering converting from Amazon to Apple Music - -and the M11 won't do Apple Music.

What do you recommend that will play well with Apple Music (streaming), takes SD cards, and - most importantly - sounds as good (or better) as the M11? And is kinda budget priced, say 4-500 USD? Not opposed to used devices.

As a FIIO fan, may I suggest you spend your money on a Tidal account?

Thanks for the Tidal suggestion - but, as I noted, I want to switch to Apple Music and am looking for a compatible player.

M11 Plus supports Apple Music. I found it to be a significant upgrade on the M11 Pro. The iBasso DX160 2020, Shanling M3X, or Hiby R5 Saber are probably the best bets for $400.
